CBD Oil and Your Pets Health

Animals don’t like getting stoned and dogs have a much greater sensitivity to THC than humans. It’s the THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) in marijuana that produces the high. In dogs, it can be potentially life-threatening, that’s why you should never give your pets marijuana. Hemp is different from marijuana. Hemp contains very low levels of THC and high levels of CBD (cannabinoids).

Cannabis is the umbrella name for both Hemp and Marijuana. However, Hemp products must contain less than .3% THC legally. Marijuana products contain more than .3% THC.

Fleas have a four-stage life cycle, and while adult fleas are the ones you’ll find on your dog or cat, they represent only 5 percent of the fleas in your environment.

Signs of fleas on your pet include scratching, patchy hair loss and evidence of fleas or flea dirt.

A flea comb is your best defense against adult fleas on your pet; there are several steps you’ll also need to take around your home to eliminate fleas in the other three life stages.

Nontoxic repellents can be an effective deterrent to fleas on your pet and in your environment.

Closed for Memorial Day

All of our locations will be closed to the public on Monday, May 27th, 2019 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Staff will be on site regular hours to care for the boarding pets. Activities for boarding pets will not change. We resume regular hours the next day, May 28th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day.
